Aiden (Storybook)

Aiden is a character in Pokémon Storybook and one of Elizabeth's travelling companions in Hoenn and Johto.

History

On his first few appearances, Aiden was not very nice and was referred to as "the conservative Trainer" before his name was revealed. He hated walking Pokémon and accused Elizabeth of babying her Pokémon, much like the bullies do.

At the Pokémon League Conference in Evergrande City, he had a change of heart after seeing how strong Elizabeth's Pokémon were due to the kindness she gives them.

Character

At first, Aiden was cold towards Elizabeth and didn't like walking Pokémon. After he realized that Pokémon should always be treated with respect, he realized that Froslass doesn't like being in a Poké ball and respects its decision. However, he remains serious.

		Main article: Aiden's Froslass (Storybook) Froslass remains outside of a Poké ball. Aiden uses it in situations when he has to battle but can't use Empoleon because of its size. Her known moves are Dark Pulse, Ice Beam and Shadow Ball, and her ability is Snow Cloak. She has a Modest nature and her characteristic is "Alert to sounds". Froslass can perform the Z-Move Subzero Slammer.

		Piplup → Prinplup → Empoleon ♂
		Main article: Aiden's Empoleon (Storybook) Aiden has an Empoleon who he usually uses to battle powerful opponents that Frosslass can't handle. His known moves are Hydro Pump, Flash Cannon and Ice Beam, and his ability is Torrent. He has a Bold nature and his characteristic is "Proud of its power".

		Joltik → Galvantula ♂
		Main article: Aiden's Galvantula (Storybook) One of the three bullies was turned into a Joltik by Arceus and was caught by Aiden. In Old Friends, New Classmates!, Joltik evolved into Galvantula to save Rotom from a moveproof, and learning Thunder to blast Team Rocket off. His known moves are Electroweb, String Shot and Bug Buzz, and his ability is Compound Eyes. He has a Hasty nature and his characteristic is "Somewhat of a clown".

		Larvitar → Pupitar → Tyranitar ↔ Mega Tyranitar ♂
		Main article: Aiden's Tyranitar (Storybook) In Old Friends, New Classmates!, Aiden was shown to own a Larvitar which he used to help the Classmate's Pokémon to dig through sand. Out of rage, it skipped the Pupitar stage and evolved straight into Tyranitar in Going to a Pupitar Stage! after Rotom was captured by Team Rocket, Tyranitar is revealed to have a strong hatred to Team Rocket, but he has a friendly and soft side around its allies and its friends. With Aiden's Key Stone, Tyranitar can mega evolve into Mega Tyranitar. His known moves are Stone Edge, Dragon Claw, Crunch, Hyper Beam and his ability is Guts as Larvitar, Shed Skin as Pupitar, and Sand Stream as Tyranitar and as Mega Tyranitar. He has an Adamant nature and his characteristic is "Likes to fight".

		Eevee → Leafeon ♀
		Main article: Aiden's Leafeon (Storybook) Aiden mentions that he recieved Eevee at the Hoenn Game Corner. Eevee later evolved into Leafeon in the episode Rotom's Secret's Out! and learned Razor Leaf. Her known moves are Razor Leaf, Tackle and Dig, and her ability is Anticipation as Eevee, and Chlorophyll as Leafeon. She has an Adamant nature and her characteristic is "Takes plenty of siestas".

		Pidove → Tranquill → Unfezant ♂
		Main article: Aiden's Pidove (Storybook) In The Adventures of Shroomish and Varnicorn!, Aiden was shown to own a Pidove which he used to help locate where Shroomish and Varnicorn is. He revealed to have evolved into Tranquill prior to the episode. He soon evolved into Unfezant. His known moves are Air Cutter, Quick Attack and Night Slash, and his ability is Super Luck. He has a Jolly nature and his characteristic is "Highly curious".
