Apparently, this Pokémon DOES have gender differences, but because it's so fat, they are near impossible to see. Because this Pokémon has a different gender ratio than the Pervetish it evolves from, there's a 37.5% chance of a gender change on evolution.
This Pokémon doggedly insists that it's healthy, and that it can be "healthy at every size"...despite clear evidence that it isn't. Obsessed with Marilyn Monroe and the "rockabilly" aesthetic for some reason. Will often force itself into Snorlax nests and challenge them to eating contests. Rarely eats anything healthy.
This Pokémon is a representation of the "fat acceptance movement", with references to Tess Holliday, Meghan Trainor, Ragen Chastain, Jes Baker, Kate Harding, and Virgie Tovar all present in the game.
Since all of Pervetish's evolutions are supposed to represent sexual fetishes Alex hates and has been known to openly bash, it could also be a reference to feederism and inflation fetishism. The latter manifests itself in how its Shiny form is colored like a blueberry, a clear reference to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, where a girl named Violet swelled up like a balloon and turned blue after eating a certain food.
