Daichi is an average Pokémon Trainer and a skilled one. Daichi gained notoriety after beating many Pokémon Trainers and even sometimes collected their Pokémon as a "Reward".
By using his inteligence to outsmart his opponent he is able to claim the Pokémon of targets much stronger than himself, altough if he knows he will not be able to win against an individual he would try to avoid the situation at all costs.
Appearance[]
Daichi is tall with tanned skin. He has shoulder-length hair, colored silver with light green tips, which covers his eyes along with a black top hat. His eye color is bright green. Daichi wears a black jacket over a green long-sleeved shirt with one vertical and four horizontal white lines. His black boots come up to his knees and over his black, white, and green pants. He wears gloves and a belt, both of which are brown and have buckles.

Personality[]
Because he grew up without knowing his parents, Daichi's childhood was marked by dreams of being acknowledged. This motivated him to become a Pokémon Trainer so that he could, in turn, become one of the Elite Four and have his entire city finally recognize him. Daichi fell in love with a girl and aimed to earn her love in addition to the Elite Four title.
But his masters presence became a wall for Daichi. Though generally kind and of unwavering loyalty to his friends and allies, Daichi nevertheless formed a one-sided rivalry with his master. When not in competition with him, Daichi would continuously train his Pokémon to one day overcome the strenght of his master's Pokémon. This day would never come, after a group of Trainers invaded their city and killed Daichi's master. Despite always fighting against his master, Daichi viewed him with great respect and even shed tears after he had imparted his final words. Daichi also frequently visits his grave to show respect for his previous master.
Because of his master's death, Daichi would become a Pokémon Trainer himself and would venture out in hopes to meet the individuals that killed his master and eventually take revenge for what they did. Daichi believed that becoming a Pokémon Trainer would grant him the knowledge of one and in hopes would lead to their location.
After the death of his master and years of receiving negative treatment caused Daichi to develop intense hostility and distrust against people, even going as far as proclaiming himself to be the living embodiment of hatred and anger. Daichi was aggressive, arrogant, cruel, cold and ambitious, and kill anyone who stood in his path who had a strong team of Pokémon. Although he could not get himself to kill innocent civilians.

Intelligence[]
Daichi learned much at a young age about the world, individual people in it, and different Pokémon from throughout history. As such, it is difficult to surprise him in combat because he already knows tactics Pokémon Trainers and wild Pokémon are likely to use, what weaknesses to take advantage of different opponents, and how to counter most Types, and Trainers.
In combat, he could correctly deduce the basic mechanics behind a Pokémon Moves after seeing them only once, and from there plan around its strengths and weaknesses to his advantage. With his intelligence, he could determine an opponent's plans and motivations based on only limited evidence. On the occasions when he encounters something new, he calmly keeps his distance and observes carefully until he devises the best approach to neutralizing it.
Even at a young age, he was always calculating and methodical in his approach to the situation at hand, leaving little room for error. If any plan of his should fail for whatever reason, he can formulate a backup plan quickly and without being inconvenienced, proving tremendous strategic and tactical ingenuity. Daichi also demonstrates high abilities in manipulation, able to see the darkness in others, and twist them to his own purposes with truth and lies.

His Crush[]
Easily the most significant of Daichi's personal relationships, his connection with his crush goes deeper and further back than any other. As the daughter of his master, the man who taught Daichi to use Pokémon, she has known Daichi throughout his youth and his time training under her father and has a personal stake in how he chooses to live his life. In turn, Daichi had entrusted her with his life as his best friend and has deemed her as both his conscience and executioner by giving her the express authority to shoot him in the back should he ever step off the righteous path.
They repeatedly demonstrate a deep, genuine sense of concern and devotion to each other as equals. Daichi has stated many times that his crush is "truly kind" and "sweeter than she seems", although he's often seen complaining about Daichi being demanding and too stern with him. He enjoys teasing her at any given opportunity, especially at the times she shows her affections openly. He also has a tendency to act on impulse whenever she is in danger.
Though their relationship has not shown any explicit signs of crossing into traditional amatory during the years, there have been many moments where such a romantic nature is implied.
His Master[]
His master was Daichi's mentor, Pokémon Teacher, caretaker, and father figure. The tolerant and even-keeled foil to Daichi's impulsiveness, his master tempered Daichi's anger with practical advice. Though his master was a hard instructor, his merciless drilling in the basics of Pokémon Battles served to improve Daichi's skill.
His master was sympathetic toward Daichi, having likewise fallen from grace due to an infamous failure in his days as a Pokémon Trainer, and pleaded that he not be so relentless in his search for stronger Pokémon. Although he often teased Daichi, who impatiently balked at his advice, they cared deeply about each other. He even thought of Daichi as his surrogate child, his own Daughter having died, and worried over her accordingly. His master constantly guided Daichi and tried to help him make good choices. In turn, Daichi was deeply thankful for his mentor and was greatly touched when his master indirectly praised him.
