Changes after HeartGold/SoulSilver Events[]
- Mt. Silver has erupted causing a separation of Kanto and Johto, thus locations between Viridian City and New Bark Town have been destroyed. Hence, the regional PKMN League's been moved to south New Bark Town.
- Eastern Johto's climate turned cold, chilling the Lake of Rage, Mt. Mortar, Mahogany Town, and half Blackthorn City.
- Due to the eruption, the Magnet Train's service was modified in order to take the PKMN Trainer to Mt. Silver for the battle against Red.
- Cherrygrove City expanded to include a new airport connecting Sanpal and Johto regions.
- Under the new Johto League, new leaders were qualified and others gained new positions or retired.
- Upon failing to capture Suicune, Eusine was offered a position in the Johto Elite Four.
- Two new trainers named Yves and Powell became Elite Four members as well.
- Whitney was offered a position in the Johto Elite Four, whilst her boyfriend Jordan takes charge of the Goldenrod Gym, specializing into Ground Pokémon.
- Chuck transformed his gym into a dojo in which holding rematches with Sanpal Gym Leaders is possible
- Pryce suffers from a terminal illness, therefore Mahogany Gym has closed indefinitely.
- Nubia, Silver's maternal cousin, has become the Gym Leader of Evergreen Town, whereas Montserrat became the Gym Leader of Whitewood Town,
- At the Lake of Rage, there is an old lady that sells the Incenses and an old man that sells the 17 elemental Plates.
- At the Dragon's Den, the Elder of the Dragon Clan now teaches Draco Meteor as a Move Tutor after the player beats Clair in her Gym.
- In Ecruteak City, the Brass Tower was restored to its former glory.
- Both Cianwood and Olivine are connected by the Cianvine Bridge.
