Personality

A tough and determined young woman, Susan was something of a tomboy.

History

Early life

Susan was born in Vermilion City, where she spent the majority of her early life. Her mother was a distinguished Officer Jenny. She was given her starter Pokémon and eventual full-fledged partner, Gastly, as a birthday present from her uncle.

Kanto region journey

At the age of ten, she applied for her Pokémon Trainer's license, and upon receiving it, she went on her Pokémon journey across the Kanto region. Susan defeated all of the native Gym Leaders and received all eight Gym badges. She participated in the Indigo Plateau Conference; although she was not the champion, she placed in third.

Return to Kanto: Officer Jenny in training!

When she turned eighteen, Susan enlisted in the police academy to become an Officer Jenny herself. After graduation, Susan earned a posting as a junior officer in Celadon City. During this time, she also volunteered at Mr. Fuji's Volunteer Pokémon House in Lavender Town.

Behind the scenes

Despite traveling to several different regions, Susan has never caught nor obtained any of the regional Starter Pokémon. Susan only has two Shiny Pokémon. The second one, Rimbombee, is based off of the first shiny I've actually encountered personally.
