Ginger Beauregard is a Pokémon Trainer who was born in Violet City and resides in Lumiose City. She is also a fitness expert.
Family in Johto
Ginger is the daughter of Phillip Gene and Nancy "Nan" Beauregard. Her parents divorced when she was six. Ginger's father is a wealthy businessman. She is the younger half-sister of Tower Tycoon Palmer. She has nine other half-siblings from her father's various marriages and a deceased full sister named Jennifer. On her mother's side she has a younger half-sister named Natasha.
Ginger's first husband was a soldier named David. They had two children, a son Liron and a daughter Briar. They divorced, and later Ginger married a businessman named Edward. They divorced after two years of marriage.
Ginger competed in the Pokelympics, but in 2004 she was banned after she admitted to doping.
Personality
Ginger is overly proud of her body shape. She can get cocky about her athletic skills, and often proves herself to be rather arrogant.
Ginger prefers Pokémon with high Speed stats and regularly participates in the Pokeathlon at the park. Her team is called Team She-Ra. Ginger has won many trophies from them. Outside of battling, she participates in activities like jogging, aerobics, and baton twirling.
In addition, Ginger is extremely hammy and over-the-top, and loves to talk loudly.
Ginger runs with fast Pokémon. She claims that she can outrun even the fastest Pokémon.
Moving to Kalos
At the age of 43, Ginger met a much younger man named Ludovic, who is the older brother of Elite Four member Siebold. Ginger married him, moved with him to Kalos and gave birth to a son, Stefan. When Ginger was 46, she and Ludovic adopted a newborn girl who they named Aurora.
In the meantime, Liron became a police officer, and Briar moved to another region to become a Gym Leader.
Ludovic managed to get Ginger into acting, and she starred in a number of so-bad-it's-good movies. Her career was cut short by scathing reviews.
Currently, Ginger resides in the northern part of Lumiose City. She does sports in Lumiose City and battling in Kiloude City. She also constantly babysits Siebold's children while Siebold is working as a chef and battling Pokémon League opponents. Ginger also rides a galloping Gogoat named Cringer.
