It is known for Lunar-based things. However,
it is known more for than just Lunar-based things. There
is new pokemon in Hokai, including standard pokemon.
There are two heroines in Hokai, a Modern-Kimono girl named Chiyomi
and a traditional-chinese clothing girl named Koyomi.
Hokai's Pokemon Professor is Professor Rika, a female
professor.

There is all types of Pokemon in Hokai, though due to its Moon-like habitat,
theres mainly Ghost-types.
Starter Pokemon
In Pokemon Guroru and Pokemon Shedoru, Professor Rika gives you a choice of one of three Starter Pokemon. They are listed as below.
Machiko, a Grass-type classified as the Royal Pokemon,
Swiruzu, a Fire-type classified as the Swirl Pokemon,
or Ponchin, a Water-type classified as the Punch Pokemon.
