Bounsweet was a wild Pokemon who helped Jon and Popplio battle a Totem Wishiwashi and Alolamola in Jon's water trial. After helping out and battling alongside Jon, Bounsweet wanted to travel with him and joined his team.

With Jon

Bounsweet listened to Jon's commands when she was a wild Pokemon battling against the Totem Wishiwashi and Alolamola alongside Popplio. Bounsweet was used in a lot of battles, but her main battle was against Olivia for the Akala Island Grand Trial, where Bounsweet evolved into Steenee in Enter Olivia, The Rock Type Kahuna!

While visiting Malie City Gardens, Team Skull attacked and destroyed the garden, making Steenee angry and causing her to evolve into Tsareena in The Lovely Garden Of Malie City.
