Kong fought againts Ash's Infernape in a "friendly" battle, Kong learned that Paul mistreated Chimchar priod to their battle, so Bartek ordered him to kill Paul, this made Ash mad as Paul may mistreated his pokemon he doesn't deserved to die. Ash's Infernape fought against Kong very good but Bartek's Pokemon was a little better, Bartek naturally mocked Ash for being weak although he respected his Infernape's optimist and bravery in battle.
