The Ombra region (シャドーリージョン Shadow Legion in Japanese), is the region that appears in the games Pokémon Shadow and Sun Versions.

History

According to ancient Ombra legends, Ombra was created by a Pokemon named Creanstar. When he was created, people and Pokemon from Sinnoh, Kanto, Johto and some Pokemon from Unova crossed the ice bridges that used to cover the land. Now, all the ice has melted in the area and is a wet region.

Geography

Most of the region's land is covered with water, making the Winter months hard to navigate. The areas that are not covered in water, is covered with many hills, and even a wetland.

There are a total of 200 new Pokemon that appear throughout your adventures in Ombra. Along with the 200 new Pokemon, Pokemon native to Unova also appear, due to the relationship between Ombra and Unova.

Location

The location of Ombra is almost half way in between Sinnoh and Unova. It and Unova used to be connected, until one day when there was an earthquake, the regions split in two.
