Pokémon Crimson and Azure Versions are upcoming titles in the new Generation of Pokémon, the
Pokemon Azure Boxart featuring the Legendary Pokemon Azurreas
Journey to Beyond Generation. This Generation will feature a wide range of never-before seen Pokémon including the Legendary Pokémon Crimarum and Azurreas and will be set in the Region of
Pokemon Crimson Boxart featuring the Legendary Pokemon Crimarum
Anaros.
New Pokemon
The first Pokémon that were revealed were the two mascot Legendaries Crimarum and Azurreas. Soon after the starters for the Region were revealed, Kadent the Grass Starter, Monurn the Fire Starter and Drakqua the Water Starter. Later on two version exclusive Pokémon were revealed, Orpurus who is exclusive to Crimson Version and Angelyk who is exclusive to Azure Version. The total number of Pokémon is unknown.

Anime Series
There will be an entire season based of Crimson and Azure. Once again Ash Ketchum will be to main hero and joining him will be Ayla and her younger twin brother and sister Will and Lyla, Brock will also return to travel alongside Ash and his new friends. The first series is called Pokémon: Crimson and Azure.

. Crimson version was originally going to be called Pokémon Opal Version.
. Azure Version was originally going to be called Pokémon Topaz Version.
. This was changed when the Legendary mascots were finalised. They did not match with the title of the Versions.
. Also the Region was going to be called Iontais and the starters were originally going to be Treapip the Grass Starter, Lambants the Fire Starter and Suritide the Water Starter
