Bio
Early Life
Samuel was a bright young man who, like many others, would set out on a journey with their Pokemon. Even at a young age, Sam had an aptitude for battling and knowledge on many Pokemon due to his father being a teacher at Celadon University, the school Sam would later teaching at as well. After years traveling the world, Sam returned to his home region and challenged the Pokemon League, beating his rival Agatha and becoming the first new champion in years.
Becoming a Professor and marrying Aurella
Despite being the strongest trainer in the region of Kanto, Samuel found himself wanting to make something more of himself and help other young trainers. So he began to study to become a Pokemon Professor at Celadon University, where he'd meet the young Aurella Mayfield. The two became close and often went on expaditions together. One night in the far Sinnoh Region, Sam proposed to Aurella and the two got married shortly after. A year later, they welcomed their son Julian into the family.
Losing Almost Everything
The years together with Aurella and Julian were some of the happiest that Sam ever had. Julian had become a young parent much like Samuel did once they welcomed his daughter and Samuel and Aurella's first grandchild, Daisy, into the family with Gary following several years later. However, the happy times quickly ended when Julian's wife mysteriously died without explanation. This caused Julian to devote himself to his work and grow distant. He eventually would disappear after an expedition in the Sinnoh Region, leaving Daisy and Gary without both their parents. Samuel and Aurella adopted the two kids and all attempted to move on but tragety wasn't done yet. Aurella was killed by a land slide in Mount Silver, leaving Samuel to care for his grandkids all on his own. He would step down from being champion, giving the position to Lance of the Elite Four so that he may focus on raising Daisy and Gary.
